Joseph T Braun, CPA
CPA & Chief Executive Officer/Advisor
Most people played house growing up. Not Joseph, he played
‘office’ his entire childhood in the basement on a concrete floor.
Talk about preparing for the real world.
During college, Joseph completed a tax internship in 2008 with RSM McGladrey, CPA
firm in Minneapolis. The experience that was acquired during this time was very
valuable and has ultimately assisted him during his business career. At the duration of
the internship, an opportunity was provided for him to join the Firm upon graduation and
work full-time as a Tax Accountant. However, there were some uncertainties as it
related to school and location and therefore, he came back to Fargo to finish school.
From 2008 to 2012, he has been involved in the private sector of accounting, ranging
from hotels to financial institutions, while consulting with small businesses on a limited
basis. This all was done before choosing to pursue a full-time career in the public sector
of accounting. Joseph is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and the North
Dakota Society of CPA’s.
It seems Joseph has had a thing for numbers his whole life. He even met his wife in
their TAX 101 class at NDSU. He now shares his love of numbers, marshmallows and
hot tamales with her. Joseph is a sports fan. His favorite professional athlete was Kirby
Puckett. “Be The Best You Can Be” was one of the phrases that stuck with him while
reading his books and watching him play. Joseph once broke out of his CPA shell in
Cancun, where he saw Florida Georgia Line in concert on the beach in Cancun, as they
set-up the stage next to the resort when they were shooting a music video.
Angie Gutierrez, CPA
CPA & President/Advisor
She’s come a long way baby! Angie dropped out of accounting
class in high school and dropped out of tax classes in college.
Upon graduation, Angie was given first-hand experience in assisting clients' from a
perspective inside the public sector of accounting. The vast variety of services that were
provided included tax preparation, audits, financial statement preparation, business
planning, payroll, and many more. After taking a short break from the public sector of
accounting to pursue a career in the tax law area, Angie has now found her ultimate
career in portraying the image as a trusted business advisor and helping her clients
grow inside our non traditional public sector of accounting industry. Angie is a member
of the North Dakota Society of CPA's.
Angie likes to go big or go home, and the proof is in her two, large Cane Corso
Mastiffs (Walter and Elmer), one of which decided to make lunch out of her
work laptop. Ask to see the teeth prints!
Once a year her family of five takes a 26-hour (one-way…yikes!) road trip
down south to visit family, driving straight through. Angie has Bora Bora on her
bucket list even though she is terrified of the ocean. No mermaid in a former
Stephanie never realized that she would be just like her mom, an accountant. I guess the saying is true... like mother like daughter! In college, she tested out childhood education, then sign language and finally moved onto Business Administration.
Since high school, Stephanie has succeeded in the world of customer satisfaction, putting a customer’s needs first and giving them the attention and respect they deserve. Stephanie went to school at Minnesota State University Moorhead and with her dedication and hard work she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She moved away from her small hometown in central Minnesota to live in Fargo and has become very accustomed to life up here. Her friendly attitude, knowledge of Business, and many years of experience are what provide her with the right amount of reliability that PrimeNumbers and clients can count on.
Now to the really important stuff, Stephanie plans to own a bulldog someday and name him Otis. Maybe he can tag along with her on her trip to Subway 2-3x per week. Yes, she loves it that much. She is the first person in the family to move away from hometown and once she retires wants to move to Lake Havasu, AZ. We hope she doesn’t retire soon as we’d like to keep her around.
